Gather design ideas for the style of bathroom you'd like to have in your home. Search the web for tiles, vanity and tapware inspiration and save them into a folder, or better yet create a Pinterest board with all of your design inspiration.
Create a plan
Create a plan for the layout of the space you are renovating with some rough drawings to assist the builder. Once you have set your heart on the design, confirm with a builder that it is achievable within your desired budget and the space you have available. You can then arrange to have the plans professionally drawn up, or seek assistance from your builder for a draftsman if required.
